Evolved from the successful basic Currera Line, R-Series it builds up on the industrial strength IP67 ruggedized technology, featuring blistering fast 1.6GHz ATOM Z530 processor, 1GB DRAM, up to 4GB Solid State Drive, Isolated control inputs and outputs, Serial port and as well the USB and PC monitor ports. Effectively capable to act and be used as PC Vision application workstation, R-Series provides convenient platform for rapid development and deployment of Vision application for Industrial, Medical, Military, Scientific and Educational sectors.

These little packages despite their minuscule dimensions has a lot inside. Powered by 1.6GHz Intel ATOM processor coupled to US15W System Controller Hub CURRERA line of cameras opens entirely new application horizons. Local PCIe bus pumps the data from sensor AFE to the CPU with zero CPU overhead in DMA scatter gather mode.

Supporting Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded or Linux, having even monitor output and spare USB ports, so you can be running your favorite image processing application within minutes. With the camera at the place you can still use Remote Desktop to fine tune the settings or simply continue the work.
